There are many ways you can help this worthy cause. One way is to go to friendsofthechesapeakebay.org and donate your time or money. Volunteer to pick up trash and clean the bay with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation or other places you can find.
BE GREEN!!!
If you have read our webiste, you would know that right now, the green scene is brown, which is definitely the wrong color.
So what else can you do to help?
- Donate supplies to shelters
- Pick up litter if you see it (maybe it's better if you wear gloves, just so you know)
- Clean a local pond or lake
- DON'T POLLUTE! Don't litter, and definitely no dumping. (No, we don't mean your girlfriend)
- Don't leave your water running, it doesn't pay the bills, and it smacks the environment in the face. (Very bad)
- Drive only when necessary. Ride your bike and get some exercise!
- RECYCLE! (And throw your trash into the trash can, not the ocean.)
Last, but not least, SPREAD THE WORD!
